USC Ranked No. 15 Nationally in Wall Street Journal Survey

 

 

USC가 지난 9월 27일 Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education in London 에서 발표한 미국대학 랭킹에서 15위를 차지했습니다. 이는 종합적이고 다양한 기준을 바탕으로 1,000개 이상의 미국 대학교를 조사한 결과 매겨진 순위이다. 미 서부에서는  USC와 Caltech, Stanford 만이 상위 25위안에 들었습니다. USC는 학문적 우수성 외에도 학생 졸업율,  졸업 후 첫 취업 연봉수준, 학생과 교직원의 다양성 분야에서 높은 점수를 얻었습니다. 같은 캘리포니아에 소재한 UCLA는 26위이고 UC Berkeley는 37위를 기록했습니다.

 

 

USC ranks No. 15 nationally in the inaugural Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education survey of more than 1,000 U.S. colleges and universities released on Sept.27.  Other than USC, Caltech and Stanford University, no other California institution ranks among the top 25. Of 150 universities surveyed in the western U.S., USC ranks No. 3. The new ranking uses a set of comprehensive metrics to determine whether a college offers students sufficient resources to succeed, whether students feel challenged and engaged, whether the student body is diverse and international, and whether graduates succeed by paying off their loans and are able to find satisfying, high paying jobs.
